Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Validate consultant and contractor electrical submissions and shop drawings.
• Supervise electrical construction and carry out site QA/QC inspections.
• Oversee testing and approval of electrical materials, equipment, and installations.
• Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, progress updates, and technical records.
• Coordinate electrical works with architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
• Monitor contractor and consultant performance and maintain accurate as-built documentation.
• Ensure work complies with HSE requirements, company procedures, and applicable standards.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• At least 15 years of post-qualification experience in electrical engineering, construction, consultancy, or project engineering.
• COREN registration is mandatory.
• Strong project-lifecycle, construction-supervision, and contractor-management experience.
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency; BIM knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, quality control, and Nigerian/international engineering standards.
