Responsibilities

• Implement approved contracting and procurement strategies and tactics.
• Develop competitive procurement strategies for assigned spend categories.
• Conduct tenders, evaluate bids and lead supplier negotiations.
• Develop post-award contract-management plans and drive value improvement.
• Identify internal commercial and procurement needs and propose competitive solutions.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance using relevant contract metrics.
• Maintain market awareness and supplier networks.
• Collaborate across production, wells, projects and operations teams.
• Support contractor safety-management and HSSE practices.
• Apply end-to-end procurement processes while maintaining compliance and commercial judgement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Business, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of contracting/procurement experience in an oil and gas company.
• Proven experience as a Contracting and Procurement professional.
• Strong tendering, bid-analysis, negotiation and contract-execution capability.
• Knowledge of post-award contract administration and supplier performance management.
• Understanding of strategic, technical, legal, finance, tax and commercial contract issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven track record of execution and delivery.
• MCIPS qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
